A note from Elaine:

Occasionally, someone will ask why I chose a career in the SBA 504 world.  My response is simple, “I enjoy working with small businesses, and I believe the 504 program is a great tool.”  Over the years of assisting businesses with their financing needs, I have worked  with micro and seed capital candidates, 100+ year old family-owned companies, multi-location businesses,  and everything in between.  I have heard incredible stories of perseverance, including one business owner who actually lived in the back of her leased business space because she could not afford both an apartment and a building for her brand new venture.  When she asked me for assistance with financing her first building several years later, I welcomed the opportunity.  Her story and countless others inspire me.   I truly believe helping businesses grow makes a difference.   The SBA 504 loan program makes it possible!
